Winner: Rob Coupland, European CxO award

TeleictyGroup COO Rob Coupland was presented with the European CxO Award in recognition of his role overseeing the design and delivery of TelecityGroup's European expansion programme, and ensuring that energy efficiency and operational excellence have been woven into the fabric of the company. Rob has also been instrumental in helping the company to develop and strengthen its integrated quality management systems, enabling TelecityGroup to achieve ISO and related certifications across the company.

Winner of the European Award for Colocation

The Data Centre Europe Awards look to distinguish excellence in the European data centre and cloud market, and the European Award for Colocation specifically recognises outstanding carrier-neutral colocation providers. TelecityGroup was recognised by the judges for its continued environmental leadership and highly-targeted capacity expansion programme across Europe.

TelecityGroup has taken top spot in the software and computer services category of Management Today’s annual Britain’s Most Admired Companies 2012 awards. The Group also came 28th in the overall list which comprises over 250 of the largest and most admired companies in Britain. This is the second consecutive year that TelecityGroup has made the prestigious list which recognises the success of the country’s highest performing and most innovative businesses.

Real Business FDs' Excellence Awards 2012

Winner: Brian McArthur-Muscroft FTSE 250 FD of the Year

TelecityGroup’s Finance Director, Brian McArthur-Muscroft, has been named Real Business’ FTSE 250 FD of the Year. Hosted by leading business publication Real Business, in association with ICAEW, the FDs' Excellence Awards are the biggest accolade for UK finance directors. Supported by the Confederation of British Industry, the awards recognise the UK's best FDs – and their teams – both at board level and within the finance function.

‘Most effective overall annual report’

TelecityGroup received the award for ‘Most effective overall annual report’ in the FTSE 250 category at the 2012 IR Society Awards, with the judges particularly impress with the Group’s engagement with its stakeholders through the transparent and high quality disclosure practices in its annual report.

Winner: Maurice Mortell ‘ICT Person of the Year’

TelecityGroup’s Managing Director of Ireland Maurice Mortell was named ‘ICT Person of the Year’ by the ICT Excellence Awards. The accolade acknowledges Maurice’s outstanding work in the region and identifies him as an individual who has excelled in his contribution to the Irish ICT sector.

Shortlisted as a National Champion

The European Business Awards recognise the most innovative companies in Europe by promoting success, innovation and ethics in the business community. Winner: ‘Award for Excellence’

TAn international competition designed to recognise excellence in video production, the Videographer Awards celebrate the hard-working, creative companies, individuals and their clients. TelecityGroup’s outstanding video production capabilities were recognised as raising the standards of the industry and the Group has been presented with the ‘Award for Excellence’.

Employee Share Ownership Awards

Winner: ‘Organisation with Less than 1,500 Employees’

The Employee Share Ownership Awards celebrate those companies that encourage broad-based employee equity schemes. Working closely with the European Commission, European Parliament, and national governments, the Employee Share Ownership Centre has awarded TelecityGroup with the accolade for the company with less than 1,500 employees. The award serves to exemplify TelecityGroup as a best practice model for other companies to follow when it comes to employee-focused equity schemes.

Transform Awards 2012

Shortlisted for ‘Best Brand Evolution’

The Transform Awards celebrate companies that have demonstrated the best examples of rebranding or brand transformation. TelecityGroup was nominated for ‘Best Brand Evolution’ following a project with Design by Structure which looked to emphasise the company’s exceptional customer service through a lighter, more approachable look and feel. The project also conveyed the company’s strong market position and international scale.

Winner of Gold Stevie award for best video

The Stevie International Business Awards celebrate the achievements of innovative businesses around the world. TelecityGroup won a Gold Stevie award in the ‘PR: technology category’ for best video. In addition the Group was also awarded Bronze Stevie awards for: Management Team of the Year, Executive of the Year (Michael Tobin), Best Investor Relations Site, Best Annual Report, Computer Services and Company of the Year.

Winner: ‘Best European Colocation Facility’

TelecityGroup has been awarded ‘Best European Colocation Facility’ for its new Condorcet centre in Paris at the 2010 Data Centre Europe Awards. The awards recognise service quality, management excellence and technical achievement for the European Data Centre industry. TelecityGroup’s Condorcet data centre has been recognised for its innovation both in terms of design and operational quality, making it one of the most technically advanced and energy efficient data centres in Europe.

Shortlisted for the ‘Excellence in Infrastructure’ category at the 2010

TelecityGroup was shortlisted for the ‘Excellence in Infrastructure’ category at the 2010 Continuity Insurance and Risk (CIR) Business Continuity awards. TelecityGroup CEO Michael Tobin has been named a finalist in the ‘Business Charity Champion’ category for the Business Charity Awards 2010. Michael Tobin is not only a Board member at charity Byte Night and Chairman of the Loomba Trust, but also actively encourages TelecityGroup employees to take part in fundraising and volunteering activities.

TelecityGroup has been awarded the Stevie International Business Award for the best ‘Investor Relations Program of the year’. The award recognises how TelecityGroup’s approach to investor relations is grounded in making the right business decisions so that value is created for investors.
